Written by Jules Verne in the late 19th century, Around the World in 80 Days, is a classic adventure novel. The story follows Phileas Fogg, a rich man from London, who is a member of an elite social club. Whilst on the club, Fogg makes a bet of £20,000 that he can shuttle all over the world in 80 days. Accompanied by his valet Passepartout, the pair set out on an unforgettable journey internationally.

Around the World in 80 Days, is Verne’s most acclaimed work. The novel inspired many adaptations, in addition to real life attempts to shuttle around the globe in under 80 days.
